We're working with other platforms to help artists push forward

We’re really happy to be part of a community of straight-to-artist platforms that are helping to give artists the tools they need to boost their careers.

Some of the greatest music of all time has come from collaborations, and so it figures that some of the greatest ideas for Music Industry 2.0 will also come from sharing knowledge. If you really want to do something great, you have to collaborate.

Recently we connected with Point Blank Music School, which has some incredible roots – having started in London in the 1990s, in the midst of the boom in DIY electronic music. It counts Goldie and Gemma Cairney as alumni and to date has taught 50,000 music producers their craft.

As part of our partnership, Point Blank students are now able to access a special 35 per cent discount when they register on Beatchain, and I gave a masterclass on how best to use Beatchain to get their music heard, once they have perfected it in the studio.

Last weekend was Utopia Talks, an event from Virtuoso, the world’s first virtual music classroom. We officially sponsored the event and I gave a masterclass on building an authentic following, something that we’re thinking about all the time.

We want to support artists of all genres to be heard by their fans, which is why we’re partnering with places where artists go to develop their craft and share knowledge.

Beatchain will also be the headline sponsor for Mixmasters.Live – a virtual electronic music summit aimed at inspiring and educating artists. As part of this, we’ll be hosting two panels discussing the platform and how to make the most out of it (on October 30 and November 1).

We’ve also already seen artists on the Beatchain platform making use of AI music video service Rotor and instant mastering service CloudBounce, again partnerships that we hope will help musicians thrive.

In doing all of this we’re hoping to continue levelling the playing field for artists. Once an artist has their sound honed, and they have their music to share, we are here to help.
